Headlines Salon & Spa gladly accepts cash, personal checks, American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, and Headlines Salon & Spa Gift Certificates.
We do book up quickly, especially around holidays and on Saturdays, so we encourage you to book your appointments in advance. No date is ever too far in the future.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time. This allows us to stay on schedule, and provides a little extra time to talk with you and answer any questions you may have prior to your service. If you are a first-time massage or body treatment client, we suggest arriving a full 15 minutes prior to your appointment. This time will be spent filling out your health history form and speaking with your therapist about your treatment.
Because everyone's time is valuable, we ask that you provide a 24-hour notice for all canceled appointments. Appointments not canceled within 24 hours prior to service time are subject to a cancellation fee.
We will do everything we can to accommodate late arrivals, but please be aware that if you arrive late to your appointment you may be required to reschedule for another time or your services may be abbreviated to fit your scheduled appointment time.
As a courtesy, we ask that child care arrangements be made prior to your appointment in order to maintain a relaxing spa environment. Please further help ensure a relaxing environment by silencing all cell phones and beepers upon arrival.
We ask that you be mindful of others experiencing treatments and enjoying the peace and quiet by trying to keep conversations to a low volume.
The majority of our salon and spa services require absolutely no preparation on your part. We suggest you wear casual attire that you can slip on and off with ease, and disposable spa wear is always provided when desired/required. For the few services that do require some preparation, like body waxing or spray tanning, please feel free to ask questions when you book your appointment, or see the descriptions of those services for more detailed information.

While we do our best to ascertain all of the information we need before any type of treatment, please always be sure to let your technician/therapist know of any current medical conditions that may affect your appointment.
We respect your privacy. You will be full draped or covered during all treatments, and will always be left to change in private. If you wish, you may bring a bathing suit for body services, but disposable undergarments will always be provided.
If at any time you feel uncomfortable during a treatment, please express this to your therapist. We do our best to anticipate your needs, but individual preferences differ and we always strive to maximize your personal experience. If there is ever a way to improve your treatment, please be sure to communicate this to your therapist. For example, if you need more pressure during a massage, or if you are hot or cold, just let us know and we will do everything we can to remedy the situation.
We do guarantee our chemical services (e.g. perms, hair color, etc.) but they must have been purchased in our salon, and maintained at home using professional products. Please also be aware that all re-trims and any issues with chemical/color services need to be addressed within a week of when the service was performed. We want you to have the best results possible, and strive to leave you completely satisfied. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please do not hesitate to let us know. We can only correct problems that you make us aware of.
We strive to provide excellent services at low rates, however all prices are subject to change. Full payment is always expected when services are rendered, and a $35.00 charge will be applied to your account for each returned check. Gratuity is not included in your spa service price, but is highly appreciated.
Gift Certificates are non-refundable, but may be used for services of your choice. We cannot guarantee appointments to those who do not schedule at least 2 weeks prior to the expiration date. Lost or stolen gift certificates cannot be replaced, and once a gift certificate is expired, it is no longer valid (no exceptions).
Multiple coupons cannot be accepted for the same service, and if a coupon is printed with a specific name, that coupon can only be redeemed by the named individual. Coupons also expire on their printed expiration date without exceptions.
